A West Fargo man with multiple DUI convictions was arrested while driving a lawnmower Sunday. According to court documents, Earl Lee Jahner had a blood-alcohol level over 0.27 and was giving rides to children at 304 9 1/2 St. E.
By Brandi Jewett / Grand Forks Herald The Grand Forks County Sheriff’s Department apprehended its first set of suspects using an unmanned aircraft at night after a traffic stop and foot chase Sunday. The flight marks the first nighttime mission the agency has flown, and officials say it could even be the first of its kind in the country, according to a news release.
PERHAM, Minn. – The driver of a Ford pickup truck died Monday when the horse trailer he was pulling had a mechanical failure, causing his truck to roll, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. Dennis Pedersen, 51, of Fergus Falls was eastbound on Highway 10 west of Perham when a mechanical problem with his horse trailer caused the truck and trailer to roll over at about 5 p.m. Pedersen was ejected from the truck and died at the scene.

Jodi Anne Miller, 38, was charged Friday in Clay County District Court with one count of fifth-degree possession and one count of fifth-degree sale of marijuana, both felonies.

A rural East Grand Forks man was injured in a tractor accident Saturday afternoon, according to the Polk County Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a man pinned under a tractor at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a press release.

Several NDSU students are calling out the university's lack of communication after Bearson went missing. They say most of the student body on campus found out about Tom's disappearance through social media or word of mouth from friends. In most emergency situations, students say they get text alerts and emails informing them of the situation.
