Field Days brings history alive

The 20th annual Field Days, put on by the Park Rapids Antique Tractor & Engine Club, was a trip through nostaliga lane. Young and old came to marvel at century-old tractors and farm equipment, some that might be environmentally suspect today. Wayne Sturgis' vintage model 77 created clouds of black smoke as he entered the tractor pull with a wave of the orange flag. The tractor parade and pull are the highlights of the two-day festival that featured Allis-Chalmers equipment this year.
