Last Saturday's invitational Speech meet in Moorhead went quite well for being the first of the season. Eleventh-grader Sarah Schultz placed sixth in the category of Extemporaneous Musical Theatre out of six entries.

There's a lot of excitement among the "speechers" at Century Middle School and Park Rapids Area High School this month. The new Speech season is underway, according to Head Coach David Overly. Parent/student information meetings were held earlier in December with a great response....
