Said to be taken near Itasca State Park, this photograph is identified as the Ellersick Lumbermen. The Ellersick family operated the Park Rapids Lumber Company, manufacturing rough and dressed lumber, lath, shingles, etc.

It took members of the Lake Itasca Region Pioneer Farmers nearly two hours Saturday to fell this partial pine, a victim of the July 2012 blowdown at the park. The top was sheared off.
