Members of the Pine Point drum group Prairie Thunder perform traditional Native American music Friday afternoon in downtown Park Rapids during the Youth Music and Art Showcase IV. Members of the group include Tom Mason, Sam Mason, Ed Miller, Dan Miller, Josh Miller, Olivia Mason and James Mason. Judy Wegenast, above, is displaying a new group of paintings, some of which have been inspired by the students at Northland Dance Studio, Park Rapids. Wegenast worked with Denise Gulbranson, director of the studio, to produce paintings of dancers. Jerry Wegenast produces wood-turning and custom furniture items.
