Third-period goals by Jaimie Nielson and Kendra Johnson rallied Fargo North to a 2-1 win over the Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley girls hockey team Tuesday night at the Ted O. Johnson Ice Arena.

Ashley Thelen tipped in a rebound at the 5:20 mark of the first period to give the Panthers a 1-0 lead. Alex Pederson assisted on that goal.

After a scoreless second period, the Spartans tied the game on Nielson's goal at the 12:57 mark before Johnson scored the game-winner at the 10:42 mark.

Fargo North goalie Hannah Sivertson made 31 saves while Shania Johnson finished with 24 saves for the Panthers, who fell to 2-7 on the season.
