The Park Rapids boys tennis team made its season debut with a 7-0 loss to Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Tuesday afternoon at the Depot Courts.

Mitch Fossen and Scott Smith won the first set at No. 1 doubles before falling in a third-set tiebreaker while Chris Shaw forced a second-set tiebreaker at No. 1 singles to lead the way for the Panthers.

LPGE, which opened the season with a 7-0 loss to Foley, won the other five matches in straight sets to improve to 1-1 in duals.
