Panthers battle to 3-3 tie at IF

Jessica Gapinski's goal in the third period gave the Park Rapids-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley girls hockey team a 3-3 tie at International Falls last Tuesday.

Leeza Tostenson assisted on a goal by Taylor Pachel in the first period, Tostenson scored on assists from Ashley Thelen and Allie Bade in the second period and Bade set up Gapinski with the game-tying goal on the power play early in the third period.

Bailey Moore finished with 27 saves for the Panthers, who opened the season with a 4-1 win.
