Crookston defeats Panthers in section dual

     Crookston won all seven matches in straight sets to defeat the Park Rapids boys tennis team 7-0 Tuesday at Crookston.

     Nick Lopez won six games at No. 1 singles while Calvin Bateman and Jeff Dickinson won six games at No. 1 doubles to lead the Panthers, who fell to 0-6 in dual meets this season.

     Tuesday’s match against East Grand Forks was rained out.

No. 1 singles: Andy Gregg, C, over Nick Lopez 6-4, 6-2.

No. 2 singles: Jacob Rosech, C, over Bobby Bruce 6-1, 6-2.

No. 3 singles: Elijah Phaiah, C, over Nick Porozinski 6-0, 6-2.

No. 4 singles: Nick Garmen, C, over Marcus McKeever 6-1, 6-2.

No. 1 doubles: Matt Garmen/Kal Salentiny, C, over Calvin Bateman/Jeff Dickinson 6-2, 6-4.

No. 2 doubles: Adam Erickson/Bobby Tiedemann, C, over Jaden Olson/Jackson Kimball 6-2, 6-0.

No. 3 doubles: A.J. Biermaier/Ian Johnson, C, over Iain Wallace/Alex Boyd 6-1, 6-1.
