Schultz, Rajewski ignite Storm

Dani Schultz and Sara Rajewsky combined for four goals and six assists in leading Morris/Benson to a 5-1 win over Park Rapids-Menahga-Nevis-Walker-Hackensack-Akeley girls hockey team Tuesday night at Morris.

Schultz had a hat trick and two assists while Rajewsky had a goal and four assists to lead the Storm, who held a slim 17-16 edge in shots on goal.

Hannah Williams and Jessie O'Hern set up Jessica Gapinski at the 4:10 mark of the third period to account for the Panthers' lone goal.

Goalie Bailey Moore made 12 saves for the Panthers, who fell to 5-9 on the season after having their four-game winning streak snapped.

Rajewsky had a hat trick and Schultz scored twice in leading the Storm to a 6-4 win over Park Rapids in the season opener. Morris/Benson improved to 8-2 on the season with its fourth win in a row.
