Panthers card a 361 at Wolf Pack Invitational
Career bests by Gairett Johnson, Bailey Mueller and Tony Schmid led the Park Rapids boys golf team to a fifth-place finish at Monday's Wolf Pack Invitational at Walker's Tianna Country Club.
Johnson shot an 87, Mueller carded an 89 and Schmid shot a 90 as the Panthers finished with a 361, which is their lowest round since 2007. Ian Johnson's 95 rounded out Park Rapids' team score while Ed Carlson added a career best 96.
Hunter Schroeder shot an 82, Kyle Magnuson carded an 85, and Mitch Rehkamp and Matt Halik had 99s as Nevis finished sixth with a 365.
Roseau used a pair of 78s by Shane Omdahl and Jordan Radcliff to win the team title with a 316. East Grand Forks was second with a 318.
