W-H-A boys hold on for 68-64 win over Braves

The Menahga boys basketball team shot 50 percent from the field and made 21 of 31 free throws, but that solid shooting night wasn't enough in a 68-64 loss to Walker-Hackensack-Akeley Tuesday night at Menahga.

Tristan Aho scored 19 points, Charlie Hodge scored 16 points and Wade Berttunen scored 10 points for the Braves, who made 18 of 36 shots, including 7 of 14 3-pointers. Jonah Howard grabbed 11 rebounds and Zach Floyd had three steals as Menahga fell to 7-12 on the season.

The Wolves improved to 9-6.
