The Park Rapids Enterprise welcomes letters to the editor on subjects of interest to our readers. The use of any material is at the discretion of the editor. The editor reserves the right to edit letters to meet space requirements, clarity or to avoid obscenity, libel or invasion of privacy. Letters should be no longer than 350 words. Thank you letters should not list more than 10 people or organizations.

The Park Rapids Enterprise policy on letters involving political campaigns is to not print letters which we know to be blatantly untrue or are simply an attempt at character assassination. We also do not publish letters which are only "character references" or personal endorsements for candidates. All other issue-oriented letters are welcome.

Deadline for letters to the editor is 3 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays. Not all letters may be published because of space issues. A letter must include your address and telephone number to allow us to verify authenticity. (Phone numbers will not be printed.)
