Police seek suspect after man shot in leg in Bemidji
BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Police are searching for the suspect after a 24-year-old man was shot early Sunday morning, June 10, inside a Bemidji apartment building.
Police Chief Mike Mastin said Monday afternoon that the man was shot once in the leg and remains hospitalized at Sanford Bemidji Medical Center.
Multiple shots were fired, Mastin said.
The suspect fled the scene before officers arrived. Police have not yet identified a person of interest, Mastin said.
Police believe the shooting was an “isolated incident” and that there is no threat to the public, a news release said.
