Business page guidelines
Local businesses are encouraged to submit business announcement to the Park Rapids Enterprise for the Wednesday Business page. This service allows businesses to place and publish their own news, guaranteeing them control over content and placement in the desired edition.
Each submission will be charged a fee of $25 for the first seven inches (about 125 words and an additional $10 per inch beyond that. (An inch is about 25 to 30 words.) In addition, the new service allows businesses to choose how long an announcement should be and include up to five headshots.
The deadline for the Wednesday edition is 10 a.m. Mondays. To submit an announcement, visit www.parkrapidsenterprise.com. A link on the Enterprise homepage — marked "Place a business announcement" — will provide access to the business news submissions, where contributors may include the text and submit photos.
How to submit a business brief in the new system
Start by creating an account. Look for the "next" button at the top and bottom of the screen to advance.
Select a category. Pick from the options below with text only or up to five photos.
Choose a package.Then choose the Park Rapids Enterprise and click on the calendar to pick the date the brief should be printed in the paper. The brief will go online right away but print in the paper the following Sunday or the date chosen for publication.
Enter a description with a headline and body text for the brief. There is a spell checker and option for preview at this stage. And copy can be erased to start over.
Choose format. The business brief will be displayed as it will appear with option to add a photo or delete it or make changes. Click next to continue.
Confirm order and enter payment information.
