Panthers roll to 7-0 win over Wolverines

Kendra Coborn and Gracie Eischens improved to 10-3 as a No. 2 doubles team in helping the Park Rapids girls tennis team defeat Wadena-Deer Creek 7-0 Tuesday afternoon at the Depot Courts.

Coborn and Eischens rolled to a 6-0, 6-0 victory while Natalie Kinkel improved to 7-4 at No. 1 singles with a 6-0, 6-0 win as the Panthers won five matches in straight sets and received a forfeit win in rolling to their fourth straight dual-meet victory.

Abby Morris coasted to a 6-1, 6-1 win at No. 3 singles while Meagan Powers prevailed 7-5, 7-5 at No. 4 singles. Olivia Wallace and Chloe Johnson posted a 6-0, 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles while Jada Renneberg and Rachael Herman received a forfeit at No. 3 doubles. Tori Hilmanowski completed the sweep by winning a third-set tiebreaker in a 6-3, 5-7, 10-7 win at No. 2 singles.

The victory lifted the Panthers' record to 7-5 in dual meets.
