Otters rally for 4-3 win over Panthers

Wins at No. 2 doubles, No. 3 doubles and No. 4 singles gave the Park Rapids girls tennis team an early 3-1 lead before Fergus Falls won the next three matches to rally for a 4-3 victory Tuesday in a dual meet at Fergus Falls.

Kendra Coborn and Gracie Eischens coasted to a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 2 doubles, Morgan Koppleman and Mickey Clark prevailed 6-4, 6-4 at No. 3 doubles, and Jada Renneberg dropped the first set before rallying for a 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 win at No. 4 singles to give the Panthers the early lead.

Ellie Colbeck rallied for a 4-6, 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles, Karissa Ellingson prevailed 6-2, 7-5 at No. 2 singles and Katie Mach prevailed 6-2, 7-5 at No. 1 singles as Fergus Falls tied the match. Abby Lemke and Alex McKinnell completed the comeback for the Otters with a 7-5, 7-5 victory at No. 1 doubles.

Park Rapids fell to 0-3 in dual meets this season.
