Public Hearing Notice Notice is hereby given that a Public Hearing concerning a request from David Schornack for a variance from the provisions of the City of Perham's Land Use (Zoning) Ordinance #268 for property zoned as (R-4) One to Four Family, to allow for remodel of existing structure into a 4 unit apartment. Variances are being requested for the following sections of the ordinance: Section 16, Subdivision 4 (C) to permit a 4 unit apartment on a 9,800 square foot lot. Zoning regulations require a minimum of 18,000 square feet. Section 16, Subdivision 5 which requires a minimum lot width of 120 feet for a 4 unit dwelling. Section 16, Subdivision 7 to exceed the maximum lot coverage for impervious surface requirement of not more than 30%. Section 29, subdivision 20 (B) to permit fewer parking spaces than required by this section. NOTE: No change is being made to the outside dimensions of this existing structure. These variances are requested for the property described as follows: Lot 1 and the southeasterly 20 feet of lot 2 Mann's Addition to the City of Perham (210 5th Avenue SW) The Public Hearing on this request will be held at 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 17, 2014 in the Council Chambers of the City Hall, 125 2nd Avenue NE, PO Box 130, Perham, Minnesota 56573. Comments on the request will be heard at the Hearing. If you are unable to attend this hearing written comments on the request may be submitted to the City Manager at the above address prior to the Hearing.
