52 arrested after Moorhead party is busted
MOORHEAD - Fifty-two individuals were charged with minors consuming alcohol early this morning after Moorhead police responded to a large, loud gathering a south Moorhead residence.
When officers first arrived at 12:30 a.m. at 417 16th St. S., an estimated 40 people fled the residence and ran through adjacent yards, according to a release from Moorhead police.
Approximately 60 people were detained. Two people were charged with fleeing an officer on foot and one was charged for providing a false name, the release stated.
Three individuals were charged with violating the city's social host ordinance: Andrew Simmons, 21; Lewis Paul, 20; and William Chevalier, 23. All three live in that location.
