Bagley man receives 30-year sentence for sex crimes with minors

A Bagley, Minn., man convicted of sexually abusing two pre-teen girls must serve 30 years in prison.

Dale Casebolt Sr., 46, was sentenced Tuesday to a term of 14 years and five months. That's in addition to the 15 years and seven months he was ordered to serve Nov. 18.

In October, a jury found Casebolt guilty of two counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and one count of second-degree criminal sexual conduct. The charges arose from an allegation that Casebolt had sexual contact with a 12-year-old girl in February 2010.

In another case, a jury convicted Casebolt in August of first-degree criminal sexual conduct and second-degree criminal sexual conduct. In that matter, authorities had accused Casebolt of having sexual contact with an 11-year-old girl in May 2009.

The crimes were reported to the Clearwater County Department of Human Services and the Bagley Police Department in February.
