Grand Forks thieves make off with $2,800 in liquor

GRAND FORKS - Grand Forks police are seeking two suspects in a $2,800 liquor theft from a Happy Harry’s Bottle Shop.

The men are suspected of stealing four bottles of liquor between 1 and 2 p.m. on Dec. 29 from the 32nd Avenue South Happy Harry’s location.

Police describe the first suspect as a white male, 55 to 65 years old with gray hair last seen wearing a gray and blue jacket and a black cap with a brown bill.

The second suspect is a white male, approximately 38 to 45 years of age with dark brown hair and seen wearing glasses, a black Carhartt jacket, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.

Employees noticed the men leaving the area in a late 1990’s teal minivan.
