Driver inattention leads to 7 crashes on interstates through Fargo

FARGO – Seven accidents were reported on the two interstates through here Thursday night.

The North Dakota Highway Patrol said there were no injuries, but seven crashes occurred just after rush hour around 6 and 7 p.m. on Interstates 29 and 94.

The Highway Patrol said the accidents were the result of drivers not paying close attention to traffic patterns.

The weather was calm with overcast skies, but temperatures remained in the 40s, according to the National Weather Service in Grand Forks.
