The Park Rapids Class of 2025 got a taste of kindergarten Friday at Century School’s Round-Up Day.

Children had a chance to become familiar with the kindergarten classrooms and teachers.

Kindergarten teachers met with a handful of students and worked with them on lining up to take a tour of the lunch room, library and other parts of the school.

Others had a chance to sing a song using a Smartboard and practice writing their name. Children were read a story as well.

While children were busy in the classrooms, parents had an opportunity to visit with various departments of the school to help ready them for fall.

“We’re here to help you prepare your children and ready them for the school experience,” said Century School Principal Joleen De La Hunt.

There is still time to enroll children in kindergarten this fall. For more information, call 237-6200.
