Road rage incident in Minn. leaves man brutally injured after attacker followed him home

ANOKA COUNTY, MINN. -- The Anoka County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help after an elderly man was brutally attacked in a road rage incident about 8 p.m. Friday, March 2.

According to a post made to the Anoka County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, an elderly man was driving in Ham Lake near Broadway and Lexington Ave when he had to suddently brake to avoid a traffic situation in front of him.

The driver behind him reportedly became angry and started to become more aggressive in his driving and taunt the victim off the roadway.

The older man thought the suspect had backed off so he went home. 

When the victim got home the suspect assaulted him, beating him repeatedly in the face and to the head for about a minute.

The suspect then asked the victim if he'd "...had enough?" 

The victim sustained multiple face fractures and lacerations, requiring stiches.

The suspect is described as a white male, about 35 years old, 6 feet tall, with short hair and wearing a leather coat.

The suspect's vehicle was dark silver or grey, had LED headlights, is believed to be a Ford Mustang or similar model and had dark tinted windows.

The Anoka County Sheriff's Office says that anyone with information on this attacked should call them at 763-427-1212 or can leave an anonymous tip online.
