Hubbard County in line for a foot of new snow
The Park Rapids area could see up to a foot of new snow by Monday evening.
"Right now it looks like totals toward Park Rapids could be in that 6 to 12-inch range from early Saturday to Monday. It looks like the heaviest totals would be fairly close to Park Rapids from the Red River Valley east-northeast through west central Minnesota towards Bemidji," said National Weather Service Meteorologist Jeff Makowski.
"So somewhere along that path could get a foot of snow," He added. "There's still a little bit of uncertainty exactly where the storm will track so it could shift a little bit north or south. But at this point that would be the axis that would look favorable for some of the heavier snow."
