By Easter Sunday, our daily highs will return to normal

We have had a pretty common early spring week across the state of Minnesota. We had some showers and isolated thunderstorms that rumbled across the state Monday night into Tuesday.

Temperatures have been above average for much of the week. Our high on Wednesday was 62 degrees after a morning low of 35 degrees. Tuesday, we also had a high of 62 degrees after a morning low of 43 degrees. In case you are wondering, our average high for this time of the year is now in the upper 40s with normal lows in the upper 20s.

By Thursday, we had a morning low of 37 degrees with highs across the area in the upper 50s and lower 60s.

We were expected to have one more decent day across central and west central Minnesota on Friday before cloud cover increased by Friday night. Rain chances will move-in by Saturday. We could see up to .25" of rain across the area. Drier air should return by Sunday afternoon and Sunday evening.  Highs will be about average by Sunday into Monday.
