Triangle Ag, a full-service crop input provider, has opened its 11th agronomy center in Park Rapids at 1605 Industry Ave.

Lennie Holmer, a Park Rapids Area High School graduate who grew up on the Ponsford Prairie, serves as sales agronomist.

Judd Fischer greets clientele as site manager.

"Triangle has had a presence in the area," Holmer said. "Now we've opened a satellite office and warehouse. We're looking to work with local farmers."

"Triangle Ag has a wealth of resources," Fischer said of the people, products and equipment available through the 11 sites. "It's a whole agronomy service."

The company provides crop nutrients, crop protection and seed, as well as services that apply to the products.

This includes custom application (including site-specific Insite VRN and deep banding), crop scouting, soil sampling, delivery, seed treatment and inoculation and input financing.

In addition to Park Rapids, agronomy centers are located in Lake Park, Ulen, Waubun, Gary, Ada, Beltrami, Perley, Felton, Foxhome and Bejou.

Triangle Ag was formed in 2006 as a combination of West Central Ag Services and Triangle Agronomy Services. Today, Triangle

Ag is wholly owned by West Central Ag Services.
