Long Prairie woman dies from bull attack
A 31-year-old rural Long Prairie woman received fatal injuries from a bull attack December 7.
At approximately 10 p.m., the Todd County Sheriff's Office received a report that a female party had been attacked by a yearling bull at a residence in Iona Township.
According to the sheriff's report, Deanna Smith and her husband were moving calves when the attack occurred.
Personnel from the Todd County Sheriff's Office, Long Prairie Fire and Rescue and the Long Prairie Ambulance responded. Resuscitation efforts were attempted, but were not successful.
