One man was transported following a three-vehicle accident at a Park Rapids intersection that has seen more than its share of crashes.

Two passenger cars and a pickup collided at the intersection of U.S. High-way 71 and County Road 15 at the southern outskirts of Park Rapids around 12:30 p.m.

The man transported was a passenger in the pickup. He was believed to have a possible broken leg and back injury.

Park Rapids police and Hubbard County deputies responded to the scene, along with North Memorial Ambulance personnel.

Park Rapids citizens have complained to DOT that the intersection is dangerous. Engineers said it does not have the traffic count to justify a signal.
