Two Park Rapids men were arraigned on a litany of burglary charges Monday after being arrested in connection with a recent rash of cabin break-ins.
Michael Gene Moorhouse, 29, and Mitchell Raymond Bugge, 37, each face more than 20 counts of burglary.
Deputies executed a search warrant at Bugge's home Thursday evening that produced "several thousand dollars worth of stolen property, including deer stands, televisions, propane tanks and heaters, chainsaws, tools, ammunition, an air compressor, trolling motors, fishing tackle/poles, a generator, one rifle, and many other miscellaneous items," according to the Hubbard County Sheriff's Department.
The burglaries occurred around County Road 4, Highway 71, the Spider Lake area and Coon Lake Trail, according to the criminal complaint.
Bugge is additionally charged with being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.
The two will make their next appearances June 7 in Hubbard County District Court.
