Two arrested in Fern Township
At approximately 3 p.m. Wednesday, Hubbard County sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant at a rural Bemidji address in Fern Township.
The search warrant was the result of officers conducting surveillance and gathering information on a possible indoor marijuana growing operation at 48767 County Road 3.
According to Sheriff Gary Mills, the search warrant resulted in officers locating an indoor hydroponics grow operation in which the owner/occupants of the residence, with the use of sophisticated light, heating and ventilation equipment, were able to grow marijuana.
Located and seized inside the residence were several mature marijuana plants, aqua water purifiers, electric heaters, timers, water pumps and high pressure sodium light fixtures, along with reflective heating sheets.
Two individuals were arraigned in court Thursday afternoon.
