Kenneth Carl Rugroden, 76

Kenneth Carl Rugroden, 76, of Crosby died Thursday, Nov. 30, 2006 at Cuyuna Re-gional Care Center in Crosby.

He was born March 2, 1930 to Carl and Ida (Lehrke) Rugroden in Park Rapids. He was in the US Air Force. He was a retired teamster trucker local 544 with 33 years of service with Pacific Intermountain Express. He also worked for Grand Ca-sino Mille Lacs.

He was a member of the Myrin James American Le-gion Post 443 of Ironton.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; two daughters, Robyn (Joe) Faifer of San Antonio, TX and Rhonda Sigfrid of Andover; two stepdaughters, Sharon Horvat of Plainfield, IL and Sandra (Jeff) Kolvenbach of Seminole, FL; brother, Curtis (Verna) of Philo, IL; sister, Esther Miller of The Villages, FL; former wife, Arlene Rugroden of Coon Rapids; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Roxanne Dilley; two sisters, Dorthea Sitz and Judy Heckle; and five brothers, Herbert, Or-vid and Arthur Sitz and Roger and Robert Rugroden.

Visitation: One hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 9 at the Koop Funeral Home in Crosby.

Memorial honors will be provided by the Myrin James American Legion.
