Miscellaneous: Aug. 14: An anonymous caller reported that her boyfriend left her and her child on the side of the road after an argument; A caller reported a tan Chevy Silverado all over the roadway and crossing the centerline at varying speeds; Local DNR reported a 4-wheeler hit and knocked down a stop sign; A Park Rapids caller requested officer assistance, stating that her ex-boyfriend had some property of hers and she was attempting to get a hold of him to get it back; A caller reported garbage was dumped on a minimum maintenance road; A caller reported two kids were in the tunnel under the highway; A caller reported a white male driver in a blue Dodge Durango was running cars off the road; A caller reported finding a camouflage pop up hunting blind; A Laporte caller requested her adult son be removed from the house;

Aug. 15: A Nevis caller reported the tampering of logging machine, it appeared as if someone had tried to drive it, the vehicle was located nearby that appeared abandoned; A Park Rapids caller reported a little boy was throwing rocks at cars; A Park Rapids caller stated he was calling on behalf of his elderly parents that wanted an auctioneer's equipment removed from their property; A Park Rapids caller reported that her boyfriend was screaming at her and throwing stuff at her, she stated that he did not hit her; A Laporte caller reported loggers on the road ruining it;

Medical: Aug. 14: An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for an elderly male that fell out of bed and couldn't get up; An ambulance was requested on Co. Rd. 33 for a 62 year old female that was passed out; An ambulance was requested in Lake George for a female party with left side pain, low temperature and high blood pressure; An ambulance was requested in Nevis for a transport; A Nevis caller requested an ambulance for his wife, stating she fell to the floor, was weak and dizzy and he was unable to lift her;

Aug. 15: An ambulance was requested in Akeley for someone needing transport to the hospital; An ambulance was requested in Nevis for a 39 year old male with vitals dropping to unsafe levels;

Accidents: Aug. 14: A Nevis caller reported a minor accident in a parking lot; A caller reported a motorcycle that hit a deer, the driver had a broken leg and air care was requested; A caller reported hitting a deer, stating the airbags were deployed, there were no injuries;

Animal related: Aug. 15: A Nevis caller reported a deer was hit by a car and was still alive on the side of the road;

Burglaries, thefts: Aug. 14: A Park Rapids caller reported the theft of two stuffed owls off of his dock; A resident on Hwy. 71 reported she got home and things were out of place and some things were missing; A Park Rapids caller reported he was at work when his girlfriend called him and said someone was trying to break into the house;

Aug. 15: A gas drive off was reported in Laporte; A residential burglar alarm was reported in Park Rapids, the son was on sight and did not have the proper ID to cancel it;

Aug. 16: A resident on Co. Rd. 18 reported items stolen from their beach front; A south door alarm was reported in Akeley;

Fires: Aug. 14: A Solway caller reported her car was on fire, she put the fire out and the latch to the engine was broken; A residential fire alarm was reported in Park Rapids;

Aug. 15: A Park Rapids caller stated that she had a male party come into the office stating he could smell propane outside the building, she was in the building and couldn't smell any suspicious odor.
