Crowds of people endured the heat at Nevis Muskie Days this past weekend.

The festivities began Friday afternoon in Nevis with live music and several different activities

On Saturday, there was even more fun to be had with several activities that took place throughout the day, including the Muskie Market, where artists and vendors lined the Heartland Trail, giving shoppers the opportunity to peruse locally made crafts.

The Muskie 5K began in the morning as well as a kids' fishing tournament, yoga and a mini golf tournament.

In the afternoon there were several kids games to keep the young ones entertained while the beer garden opened and more great bands performed on two stages.

As the sun began to set, the streets were lined with onlookers for a grand parade and following the parade, the music continued into the evening hours.
