Miscellaneous: June 29: A Park Rapids caller reported a suspicious car near the machine shop with its lights on and hood up, the caller did not stop and stated no one should be there; An anonymous caller reported a red Dodge pickup that had the passenger's window down and what looked like tissues on the ground with blood on them; A caller requested officer assistance at a lake access complaining of a smell resembling of something rotting; A tobacco compliance check was requested in Bemidji; A Park Rapids caller reported threats via Facebook; A Park Rapids caller wanted to speak to a deputy about her ex and child custody issues; A Park Rapids caller stated a lady came to pick up her dog and he believed she was intoxicated; A Park Rapids caller claimed their neighbors' camper was illegally parked on the road; A Nevis caller requested officer assistance, stating his wife has dementia and was outside refusing to go inside the house; A Park Rapids caller complained of fireworks;

June 30: An ambulance was requested in Nevis for an elderly female that need transport to the emergency room, the call was non-emergent with nurses on the scene; An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for a male party that fell and was on the ground mumbling indiscernibly; An ambulance was requested in Laporte for an individual who smoked too much marijuana and had a high heart rate, was sweating and feeling strange;

July 2: An ambulance was requested in Nevis for an elderly female possibly having a stroke;

July 3: An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for an elderly female with low blood sugar; An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for an elderly male with severe back pain; An ambulance was requested in Nevis for a 76 year old female that fell and was injured; An ambulance was requested for a male party that fell off a bike and was bleeding from his upper thigh; An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for a 69 year old female having dizzy spells;

July 4: An ambulance was requested in Nevis for a 78 year old female that was breathing but had passed out; An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for an elderly male that fell and was unable to get up; An ambulance was requested in Nevis for a male party sweating severely and having pains in his chest;

July 5: An ambulance was requested in Cass Lake for a female with severe stomach pains;

Accidents: July 4: An anonymous caller reported a two vehicle accident, the caller stated the parties involved didn't want help but the caller was concerned they might have been under the influence of alcohol;

July 5: A one vehicle accident was reported;

Animal related: June 29: A Park Rapids caller reported a reddish/brown horse with a blonde mane out on their property; A caller reported his dog had been hit by a vehicle; A caller on Co. Rd. 33 reported a dog had been left in an empty trailer house for over a week;

June 30: A calf was reported on the roadway;

July 1: A Nevis caller reported their neighbor's dog was barking; An Akeley caller reported a dog was in her yard again and she didn't think it was a nice dog; Cows were reported out on Hwy. 34; A Park Rapids caller stated the neighbor's dog bit her;

July 2: A Park Rapids caller reported a dog was left in a vehicle;

July 3: A Park Rapids caller reported five horses out on Hwy. 34; A Park Rapids caller reported horses on the highway; A Park Rapids caller reported a dispute regarding a dog;

July 5: A Park Rapids caller reported three dogs chasing them; A Laporte caller reported a bear in the dumpster at a campground;

Burglaries, thefts: June 29: A Park Rapids caller reported someone tried to steal his tractor;

July 1: A bar motion alarm was activated in Akeley;

July 2: A resident on Co. Rd. 18 reported a tackle box was stolen out of a boat at their residence, they also stated the neighbor had a tackle box stolen as well; A caller reported the theft of a credit card and fraudulent charges; A caller reported their vehicle window was smashed and a purse was stolen from inside the vehicle;

July 3: A Nevis caller stated that her neighbor reported the theft of items from their boats, she was calling to tell dispatch that they also had tackle boxes taken from their boat the same night;

July 5: A Laporte caller reported their kitchen patio entry alarm was activated as well as the upper stairs alarm, the owner was inside the house in an upstairs bedroom and stated the door was locked; A residential burglary alarm was reported in Laporte;

Fires: June 30: An anonymous caller stated there was a grass fire in the ditch;

July 2: A Laporte caller reported a grass fire by the fire hall; A caller reported a grass fire in a field that was spreading quickly with no structures nearby;

July 4: A Park Rapids caller reported a fire in a dry pine patch approaching two residences.
