Miscellaneous: May 25: A Bemidji caller reported a suspicious Grand Prix parked on 101 south of Hwy 2, one male was in the road and one female was on the shoulder and more people were in the car; A Park Rapids caller reported his neighbor saw a person walking through his yard, he requested an officer make sure his residence was secure since he was out of the area; A caller reported a vehicle tire was slashed and the vehicle was on the side of the road, the reporting party was concerned about a large quantity of tools that were sitting in the back of the vehicle unattended would be stolen; A Park Rapids caller had questions for an officer regarding ATV laws; An anonymous caller reported a suspicious male party dressed in all black walking and seemed to be looking around constantly; A Park Rapids caller reported trees on the roadway, the reporting party said they would become a hazard after dark;

May 26: A Park Rapids caller reported an intoxicated party left Zorbaz headed toward Dorset driving a maroon Ford truck; A Cass Lake caller reported cars racing and damaging the road; A caller reported a white truck parked on the side of Hwy 71 causing a traffic hazard; A Nevis caller reported a dispute over trees removed from his property; A caller reported the asphalt on Co. May 29: A Cass Lake caller stated there was someone attempting to rob him, the reporting party put the phone down and dispatch could hear the reporting party yelling and swearing at a female party in the background; A Laporte caller reported a female party was suppose to return an 11 year old child the day before and never did, the father was going to go pick the child up in Guthrie; A Nevis caller requested officer assistance in retrieving their property, their ex-husband was threatening to burn the reporting parties property that had been left at the residence; A Park Rapids caller reported the father of a child was refusing to give the child back to the mother despite custody schedule dictating an exchange; A Nevis caller reported their vehicle has been sitting all winter and the tires were flat, they were concerned that someone may have damaged them over the course of the winter; A Nevis caller reported their paddle boat was missing, stating it possibly blew away from their dock on Lake Belle Taine; An Akeley caller reported a female party at her house refused to leave after being asked;

May 31: ATM fraud was reported in Bemidji; A Nevis caller requested officer assistance in getting keys back; An Akeley caller reported a possible scam; A Cass Lake caller stated she wanted people off her property, she said that they left but kept coming back; A Bemidji caller reported a blue dodge neon came to a complete stop in the middle of the roadway; An Akeley caller reported a lady was walking in the ditch crying, a green four door car drove up to her and then drove away and came back;

Medical: May 25: Cass County dispatch called in that a male party was flagged down in Laporte by a man having a possible heart attack, an ambulance was requested;

May 27: An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for a male party having a possible stroke;

May 28: An ambulance was requested in Laporte for an elderly female having difficulty breathing; An ambulance was requested in Nevis for an elderly female that fell off of a boat, she had a large laceration on her leg and was losing consciousness;

May 31: An ambulance was requested in Park Rapids for a female party possibly having a heart attack; An ambulance was requested in Cass Lake for a child that broke their arm at the playground;

Accidents: May 25: An ATV rollover was reported on Co. Rd. 40;

May 28: An accident was reported in Bemidji; A motorcycle accident was reported; A single vehicle accident was reported in Laporte;

May 29: An RV accident was reported in Laporte;

May 31: A van in the ditch with one female and some children was reported;

Animal related: May 25: An unlicensed and unregistered dog was reported in Nevis; A dog complaint was reported in Cass Lake; An unlicensed and unregistered dog was reported in Nevis;

May 27: A Laporte caller reported a cat was severely stuck in a tree and had been there for two days; A Laporte caller reported issues with the neighbor's dogs killing her chickens; A Nevis caller reported a dog that wouldn't leave their property; A caller believed someone took his dog from his yard on Hwy 34;

May 28: A Park Rapids caller reported a goose with a broken leg at a public access;

May 30: A Laporte caller reported their neighbor's dogs damaged property;

Burglaries, thefts: May 25: A Park Rapids caller reported their cabin was broken into and burglarized; Theft of a log splitter was reported in Park Rapids;

May 26: A Park Rapids caller reported a canoe was stolen from their cabin;

May 30: An activated interior motion alarm was reported in Park Rapids; A Park Rapids caller believed her neighbor had stolen her gas; A theft was reported in Park Rapids;

Fires: May 26: An aircraft reported a large fire with smoke blowing across the roadway;

May 27: A fire alarm was reported in Akeley; An Akeley caller reported seeing a fire south of her residence near Hwy 64;

May 28: An anonymous caller reported they smelled something burning and could see a lot of black smoke; A caller requested officer assistance, believing something was on fire on the NW side of Duck Lake;

May 29: A Nevis caller reported a large fire behind a shed on Co. Rd. 2; A garage fully engulfed next to a house and a travel trailer was reported in Nevis;

May 31: A grass fire was reported in Park Rapids; A Park Rapids caller reported a lawn mower on fire.
