Bring on the side of beef

It could take half a cow to complement this giant rutabaga grown by Todd Nordquist, estimated at 16 pounds. But it likely won't get eaten. It was sprayed by a crop duster, Nordquist said, so he's looking to preserve it. Needed: one giant vat of wax. Nordquist said over the years he's grown lots of rutabagas but this one was the granddaddy of his yields. (Sarah Smith / Enterprise)
