They cooked. You came. We conquered (contributed) to the Hubbard County Food Shelf. Twenty-two chefs/teams shared their chili at the Enterprise-sponsored Chili Challenge Wednesday, with $4,500 received in donations to date. The People’s Choice winner will be named Wednesday.

Dignity quilts will comfort grieving families
The “Threads of Love” quilters from Hubbard United Methodist Church wanted to give some dignity to families of loved ones who have passed away.
They accomplished this by creating and donating two dignity quilts to Cease Family Funeral Home and Jones-Pearson Funeral Home.
