Klobuchar, Oberstar request review of endangered species status for Minnesota wolves 
Sen. Amy Klobuchar and Congressman Jim Oberstar are asking for a federal review to determine if the Gray Wolf in Minnesota should remain on the endangered species list. Minnesota’s wolf population has doubled over the past two decades and packs are now ranging as far south as the Mora area in Kanabec County.

Klobuchar Appointed to U.S. Senate Impeachment Committee 
U.S. Senator Amy Klobuchar was appointed to a 12-member bipartisan committee to gather evidence in the Senate’s impeachment trial of Judge G. Thomas Porteous of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana. The House of Representatives voted to impeach Judge Porteous last week.
