Fawn

A spotted fawn, likely only a couple months old, curled up under a pine tree in a residential neighborhood of Park Rapids Thursday. It was first spotted in a ditch off County Road 6 but later made its way to the cover of the tree. It looked confused about its surroundings. Experts say unless the fawn can be reunited with its mother or find a food source, it won’t make it through the winter. You can see its winter hair growing in around the neckline and haunches.
