The 9th annual Art Fair at the Winery offered the alluring combination of artists, music, food and wine sampling, drawing visitors in number this past weekend. Twenty-eight selected artists displayed their wares as visitors enjoyed the scenery, including quite possibly the largest rhubarb patch in Minnesota. Jazz and folk musicians, above, kept the atmosphere lively throughout the sunny summer days.

Minnesota Folklore Theater will present An Evening with Patsy Cline, featuring Krista Norquist as the famed singer. The audience will be taken back in time to 1958 at the Flame Café in Minneapolis and the Danceland Ballroom at Excelsior Park. Performances, opening Thursday, Aug. 26, are at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday and Saturday and 3 p.m. Sunday through Sept. 5. The theater is in Akeley.
