I hope that the low turnout at the caucuses is a sign that people are finally tiring of the two party system in the U.S. I hope that the low turnout at the caucuses is a sign that people are starting to realize that comparing the Democrats and Republicans is really no different than comparing color samples of "off-white". Both believe in an active government that has to "do something" whenever something goes wrong; who believe that there are businesses that are too big to fail; who believe that people have to be told how to educate their children; who believe that anything they like is a "right", and who believe that they must bring other people's money back to their home state in order to get re-elected. I hope that the low caucus turnout is a sign that people are finally going to look for candidates that won't promise that they will take care of us but will instead promise to get out of the way and respect the ability of people to make decisions and manage their own affairs. I hope that the low caucus turnout is a sign that the days of the two major parties are numbered and that people are searching for a party that reflects a belief in individual rights, responsibility, and liberty.
