The reality: people make stupid choices when driving. If you see a stop sign, STOP. If a car is coming, don't gun it to "beat them", if someone drinks, don't drive. Simple, isn't it? I know several local teens who brag about never stopping at certain 4-way stops, or stopsigns on local highways, because "no one is ever coming". Accident waiting to happen.

I stand corrected, My statement however is born of frustration over repeated intsances of incomplete, misleading or just plain incorrrect information being published by this and other media outlets and the misunderstandings they cause. Menards coming to bemidji? Cool! now if we can just get Walmart to put in a Sam's club.......

The sentence was formed making it sound like Menards is already in existance. It should have said, "where Menards is being built this spring, there will be a stop light in front of that location". But the fact is , JKW, Menards is opening for sure in Bemidji this year and the writer assumed everyone knew that.

I dont think there is a menards in Bemidji. I think the author of this article needs to spend a little more time researching the facts before sending things out for publication.
