Thank you Steve for sharing your bear experience. There's much to learn from these amazing animals. My son works at the North American Bear Center in Ely while attending VCC. This has been an outstanding opportunity for him to come back during breaks and share his knowledge with the school district students I work with here in central Illinois. Today our 4th grade class took my challenge of raising donations for two weeks and I will match whatever amount they have donated and send it to Ely. I hope everyone will make plans to take a trip over to Ely this summer and visit the bear center. I guarantee you won't be dissapointed. Don't forget your camera and don't be on a time limit. Ted, Lucky and Honey will keep you entertained. Here in Illinois looking forward to another summer in the northland.
