Nationally touring songwriter performing at library
Minnesota singer and songwriter Zach Johnson will perform at the Park Rapids Area Library
6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesday June 13.
Johnson is a nationally touring artist, performing 75 or more dates annually and is a member of the Grammy Recording Foundation. He has entertained on stages of all sizes across the country and appeared on multiple radio shows. He plays a variety of instruments, including 6- and 12-string acoustic and electric guitars, baritone guitar, dobro, banjo, mandolin, violin, lap steel, harmonicas, octave mandolin, viola, bass, drums, percussion, banjolin, dulcimer, ukulele, pedal steel and more.
Johnson's repertoire covers a wide range of styles and genres — from folk to jazz, rock to spoken word, blues to pop, country to a cappella, gospel to instrumental and more.
He'll share his experiences as a singer/songwriter.
His hit YouTube channel, thesongadayproject, has Johnson bringing a song — either original or cover — from wherever he is on any given day and has run for over 2,000 consecutive days.
