Body:

Country star Dwight Yoakam will bring his "Guitars, Cadillacs" to Grand Forks.

Yoakam will perform March 11 at the Chester Fritz Auditorium, according to a news release. The artist who has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide will perform with Brandy Clark, who has written songs for The Band Perry, Miranda Lambert and Kacey Musgraves.

"Guitars, Cadillacs" was Yoakam's debut recording single, but he has recorded numerous other singles, including "Honky Tonk Man," "Suspicious Man" and "Streets of Bakersfield."

He's also appeared in several movies—including "Sling Blade" and "Wedding Crashers"—and had a guest appearance in the animated series "King of the Hill."

Tickets for the concert go on sale from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Thursday online at jadepresents.com and ticketmaster.com. Anyone can buy tickets at the Chester Fritz Box Office or by calling (800) 745-3000 or (701) 777-4090 beginning at 11 a.m. Friday.
