Wolf Lake gets down and dirty

The Wolf Lake Harvest Festival was a success, with great weather and fun events for everyone.

Allison Christenson was crowned Miss Wolf Lake 2013 Friday night. Lindsey Sternberg was named 1st Princess; Charity Neis was named Junior Miss Wolf Lake; Sarah Aschnewitz was named Junior Princess Wolf Lake; Serrennity Neis was named Little Miss Wolf Lake and Jaida Hogan was named Little Princess Wolf Lake.

The antique tractor show had several entries, with original and restored tractors. Here are the results:

Best original

1st Place: Edger Hendrickx with a “B” Allis Chalmers.

2nd Place: Ross Paurus with a “WC” Allis Chalmers,

3rd Place: Jared Aho with a “550” Oliver.

Best restoration

1st Place: Matt Beck with a “D” John Deere.

2nd Place: Ken Geritz with a “MT” John Deere.

3rd Place: Tom Mickelson with a “R” Minneapolis Moline.

‘She Thinks My Tractor’s Sexy’

1st Place: Nola Aho & Family with an “NAA” Ford.

2nd Place: Tom Mickelson with an “RT1.”

3rd Place: Gerald Koskola with a “70” John Deere.

The mud run was once again a favorite, with trucks and ATVs drove through a mud-filled track.
