Based in Minneapolis, "Circle of Heat" returns to 2nd Street Stage on Thursday, June 22.

Hosted by the Park Rapids Downtown Business Association, the free, live street concert runs from 6 to 8 p.m.

New this year, a beer garden opens one hour before the show.

With over seven years, hundreds of shows and thousands of miles under their belt, "Circle of Heat" continues to push themselves. Drawing inspiration from genres such as funk, jazz, classic and '90s rock, their music is ever-expanding into an original sound with a familiar feel.

Playing many of the Midwest's top festival — Summerfest, Wookiefoot's Shangri-La & Revival, 80/35 and Big Wu Family Reunion — as well as a year-long weekly residency performing on the legendary stage at The Cabooze in Minneapolis has allowed them to collaborate with local and national acts.

The stage, beer garden and family activities are set on 2nd Street, between Main Avenue and Highway 71. Bring your own lawn chair.

2nd Street Stage continues every Thursday evening through Aug. 17. To see the complete summer line up, go to www.parkrapidsdowntown.com.
