The jury deliberating the case against Zornes, who was on trial for six days of testimony ending Tuesday, handed down the guilty verdicts at about 12:45 p.m. Jurors got the case Tuesday at 11:21 a.m.

Zornes was convicted on two counts of first-degree murder in the stabbing and beating deaths of Londo, 25, and Cadotte, 20. The 39-year-old was also found guilty on the arson charge and a count of vehicle theft.

Jurors found Zornes not guilty on two counts of second-degree murder.

The bodies of Londo and Cadotte were found at a three-unit apartment building at 901 9th Ave. S. in Moorhead on the morning of Feb. 19, 2010.

Zornes now faces a mandatory term of life in prison without chance for parole on the first-degree murder convictions. A sentencing date in Clay County District Court is set for Dec. 16.
