Zach Gabbard checks into transitional rehab unit at Perham Hospital
FARGO - Zach Gabbard got a little closer to home this week when he was transferred to a transitional rehab unit at Perham (Minn.) Hospital.
The Perham High School junior collapsed during a basketball game in Glyndon on Jan. 20.
According to his CaringBridge website, Gabbard and his parents made a trip to their Perham home on Sunday.
Monday, he was checked into the rehab facility at the Perham hospital.
Gabbard's doctors said in February that they believe a respiratory infection he had in December may have been the cause of his collapse.
More than 464,000 people have visited Gabbard's CaringBridge site.
